The Best of Both

Thanks to technology, we are living in an interesting and transitional time.  We live and work among folks from the Silent Generation, to the Baby Boomers, all the way to Gen Alpha.  These different age groups bring different values to the table, especially those surrounding one’s attitude toward technology.  Baby Boomers and Generation Xs (born between 1946 and 1979) tend to err on the side of caution with how much personal information they reveal through technology.

Millennials and Gen Zs (born between 1980 and 2012) tend to be much more trusting of technology because they grew up surrounded by it.  Our environment has changed, and our values have followed.

So, how does this affect the workplace?  We see it here at G5.

We are fortunate to have team members of varying ages and generations, and this has proven to be a huge asset to G5.  We have the best of both – a great balance!  Generation Z employees are extremely comfortable with integrating the newest technology into the business.  Baby Boomers and Generation X employees have the years of industry expertise needed to use this technology to its fullest potential.  Their polar differences balance each other out and provide great diversity among the agency.  When we put our heads together, we make strides we couldn’t make apart!
