Summer Suggestions
We’re all friends here, and I love sharing my current favorites with you guys. Here are some things I’ve been loving lately. As we move into the summer season, maybe you’ll find them fun too!
Sunscreen is my lifeline from May through September. If you have a TJ Maxx or Marshalls around you, check out their cosmetics section. I’ve been finding sunscreens for 50% off.
Music is constantly playing in my house during the summer. If you don’t have a good speaker, I highly recommend anything from JBL. You can order them on Amazon, they’re waterproof, portable, durable, and the Bluetooth pairing is uncomplicated.
I find myself watching heavier shows in the winter – dramas, crime docs, serious movies. I don’t watch much TV at all in the summer, and if I do, it has to be shorter form content. Sitcoms are great because they’re light, quick, and make me laugh. My current favorite is Abbott Elementary on Hulu.
If you’re looking for something fun to do with family or friends, try checking out a baseball game near you. Whether its the majors or Triple A, tickets are often under $20. Take it from me, you don’t even need to know what’s going on in the game. The atmosphere is fun, and it’s a great way to try something new.
If you’re a reader, try Libby. It’s a library app, and it’s free! All you need is a library card, and you can digitally take out books all summer.
