Outside Your Comfort Zone
Picture yourself in a box. That’s your comfort zone. Inside that box are three great (but very boring) concepts: safety, security, and familiarity. You’re feeling unfulfilled, unchallenged, and stagnant. So, you gather the courage to step outside of the box.
At first, there is no safety, security, or familiarity in sight. Surrounded by uncertainty, risk, and newness, you’re tempted to retreat to your box. Things were easy in there!
You’re realizing that existence outside of your comfort zone is, well… uncomfortable. There are no boundaries, no restrictions, and each choice is suddenly entirely yours. What are you supposed to do with all of this space?
Though you may feel lost, hold strong, stay brave, and remember why you left your box in the first place. You’ll learn that being surrounded by an abundance of decisions is a privilege, not a plague. Look around, and you’ll see opportunity, possibility, and growth.
