Our Spring Favorites

The sun has come out, the temperatures are rising, and spring is in full effect!  Here are some of the G5 team’s favorite springtime necessities.  (Click the item name for a direct link.)

Muck Boots
Spring is mud season, and we couldn’t get through it without our Muck Boots.  The taller the better!  Wherever you are and whatever you do, a good pair of these will be useful during any season!

Car Mats
Sticking with the theme of function-over-fashion, a “life proof” set of car floor mats is a game changer.  No more cringing when your kids or muddy dog climb into the back seat.  Just hose them off and your car will be looking (and smelling) back to normal in no time!

Heated Vests
Cold in the mornings and warm in the afternoons?  With a heated vest, you can pack one jacket and be prepared for all day.  Just turn on the heat when you’re chilly!

Mask Chains
You’ve heard of the chains you can clip to your glasses, right?  Well, you can get one for your mask now too!  Instead of crumpling it in your pocket, you can hang your mask around your neck.  This comes in handy in the warmer months when pocket space is limited!  A huge bonus: many small businesses sell very cool and affordable options, so you can feel good about where you’re spending your money.

AirPods
I know I’m late to the party on this one.  I was reluctant to hop on the bandwagon, but I got mine as a gift and use them every day.  Whether you’re out for a walk, on a tractor, in the office, horseback riding, or in the gym, not having that pesky wire on old fashioned headphones is infinitely more convenient.

Gas Fire Pit
If you’re someone who camps or likes to have a backyard bonfire, this is a must.  You get all the warmth and ambiance of a real fire pit without the smoky smell that sticks to your clothes forever.  This has been a game changer for camping trips (no smoke means you can put it under your camper’s awning!)

Boots & Bangles Podcast
The Small Business Sisters Mary Heffernan and Ann Williams share their knowledge of starting and maintaining the success of a small  business.  You’ll learn from their experiences in two totally different industries.

Energy Bites
Spring means go, go, GO!  We’re outside as much as possible, and an easy, portable snack comes in handy.  Energy bites are a fun take on trail mix that anyone will love.  Whether you’re at a little league game or on a long car tide, these are delicious and quick.
