Our office is in the heart of Narrowsburg, NY.  It’s rural coziness and breathtaking views of the Delaware River make it a favorite vacation spot.  I’ve spent countless lunchbreaks strolling the streets of the town.  The word strolling it actually a stretch.  My daily walks were taken in true local fashion: with my head down and my pace quick.  This weekend, I decided to spend my Saturday morning in Narrowsburg.  I wanted to visit the town for a reason other than going to work.

I started the morning with a coffee right on the river.  It was rainy, but I took my time walking through every shop on Main Street.  I thumbed through nearly every book at the book store, took in every piece of artwork, and enjoyed every stand at the Farmer’s Market, all the while thinking

“Wow, this was right under my nose the whole time.”

Wherever you live, your surroundings quickly become the backdrop of your every day.  If we looked up on our walks, slowed down our pace, we’d realize the beauty of what’s right in front of us.  You don’t need to go far to explore.
