A Holiday Win-Win

When I was a kid, I went door to door on Main Street multiple times per year.  Whether I was asking for a donation for 4-H, a sponsorship for a sports team, or selling cookies for Girl Scouts, I knew I could count on local businesses for their support.  These same local businesses have faced crippling challenges this year.  Small businesses are knocking on our doors this year and asking for our support.  If you have the means, I encourage you to keep local businesses in mind this holiday season.  Your gifts will be beautiful and hold meaning that mass-produced goods just don’t have.  You’ll get your holiday shopping done, and you’ll be supporting local families who, like all of us, are doing the best with the cards we’ve been dealt this year.  It’s a holiday win-win!
